Nick Cunningham
President
Nick, a dual national of Britain and the Bahamas, founded China 2 West Services Ltd. in 2005. Currently based in Bangkok, Thailand, he leads a dynamic lifestyle, frequently traveling to oversee the company’s global operations and explore new opportunities.
His leadership and entrepreneurial spirit have been instrumental in shaping China 2 West. into a trusted name in its field.
Before venturing into the business world, Nick served as a Royal Marines Commando in the UK, rising to the rank of Major. His military career was both distinguished and diverse, involving operational deployments to Bosnia, Georgia, Sierra Leone, and Nicaragua. In recognition of his exemplary service, he was awarded the Queen’s Commendation for Valuable Service (QCVS) in the 1999 Queen’s New Year Honours List.
Mark Jacobs
CEO
Mark is a talented engineer graduating from university with 1st Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering. Before moving to China in 2005, he spent seven years at Airbus UK, working across several key engineering departments. During this time, he gained extensive experience in project management, manufacturing processes, design, and procurement within the aviation industry.
Since joining C2W in 2006, Mark has been instrumental in helping a diverse range of clients—from multinational corporations to innovative start-ups—unlock the advantages of China’s supply chain.
His expertise has been pivotal in transforming numerous product concepts into successful mass-production realities. Based permanently in China, Mark ensures Western-quality standards in technical projects and oversees all C2W operations within the region.
Mark Clayton
CFO
Mark, originally from the UK, qualified as an accountant at the remarkable age of 20. After arriving in China in 2005, he joined C2W in 2007, where he quickly established himself as a key player in the company's evolution into a thriving family of businesses. Over the years, he has gained extensive experience, enhanced his management expertise, and cultivated a deep understanding of Chinese culture, all of which make him an invaluable member of the C2W Group.
A dedicated lifelong learner, Mark is a proud member of the accounting bodies AAT & CIMA. His leadership capabilities were further recognized when he was elected Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce Guangdong in 2024.
Mark’s true passion lies in giving back to the community. Among his most notable achievements is receiving the prestigious International Peace Award in February 2019, an honor that acknowledges his significant contributions to the field of philanthropy over the years.
